Actually, I believe that the camera was well leveled.
I think your eye is being fooled by the strong diagonals formed by the trees leaning over the water (and their reflections). These diagonals form a strong part of the overall composition IMO. The bank is level.
Actually looking at the bank is not a good indication of level. Look at the trees further back in the woods, on the average they are fairly close to vertical. At worst the frame may have been rotated a bit under the enlarger out of plumb by a few degrees. Sometimes those details can get away from you with such strong elements in the picture to deal with.

I really enjoy this shot. A great sense of the strong sun light, beautiful highlights middle tones and shadows. It makes me want to visit Georgia. Great judgment on the film pick. Is the paper resin or fiber coated?
