They took a while to load, but I got images with those posts just now. Hosting refusing a UK IP address, maybe?

Depending on where perkeleelinen is reading from, it might also be a local network (business wifi, for instance) blocking imgur.

And that's the thing, isn't it? It's just so fun shooting this format.

Aside from the cutting, loading, developing and scanning the whole experience is a hoot. I need more 16mm dev reels.

You all are spot on with these observations. Sometimes the image quality isn't there, compared to larger formats, but the process, as Cholentpot describes above, really makes the whole experience a hoot.

Best,

I love pulling it out when people question why I'm shooting film in 2022. 'You think that's pointless? Check THIS out.'

'You're nuts'

'And?'

I think it just plain ol' fun too. You don't have to carry anything. The quality is what it is, but fine for 8x10s or smaller. In fact the structure of the image is perfect for small prints. I still haven't picked up a 16mm camera. The cassette thing is the problem for me. It sure would be easier to use though.

It is a shame there were no advanced 110 cameras made. And by advanced I just mean with full controls but still nice and small. The Rollei would have been good enough if they just put a rangefinder in it. I've never been fond of scale focusing especially when there is no scale to look at.

This is a print scan from a while back.

Rollei E110. Kodak RAM. Beutler's.

That reminds me of a photograph my father took of a sign in New Orleans that said, "Tattooing in Rear".

Do not e offended. It was not your rear end.
