Lith process make disadvantages of the small format to advantages!

Yes, I even modified the enlarger I use for Minox to get 2.5x more light to enable lith printing the little negatives.

I guess if I were a Youtoober I'd click-bait my thread:

"This simple modification (that Philips does not want you to do) increased my light output by 2.5 times!"

Excellent result, I was wrong about the color films, Cinestill50 is very good!
Appreciated. I like using the CineStill 50d because of its fine grain and exposure latitude. Since I scan the negatives and develop them digitally, I can easily control other effects, for example black and white images with coarse grain (Minox EC):

Not lo-fi per se, but some 16mm film stock run through a 35mm camera.

It is a blue sensitive (not ortho) film and has a clear base, so dust can be an issue. Because the film doesn't engage the camera's advance sprockets you're best served by maintaining film tension using the rewind knob to remove any extra slack. Quite a few frames nearer the end of the roll suffered some overlap due to slack/slippage on the take-up side.

Lomo just put out a 110 camera. Looks decent quality too, glass lens, decent amount of settings to play with. Anyone planning on getting one?

I picked up a Fujica Pocket 600 a while back after searching for years for one. After I stopped searching I stumbled over one. Always the way, isn't it? It has an actual rangefinder so no guess focusing.

Anyway, I put some film in it a while back but didn't get around to using it until recently, and by the time I got around to shooting it, I forgot that with reloaded microfilm the wind needs two pumps... So all my images were overlapped. They were also underexposed by a stop or two. I used the same ND stack I use on my Rollei E110, so I'll have to add more in the future. Neat camera. One quirk is you have to trim the cassette otherwise it won't fire. I think there is an interlink between the film sprocket feeler and the shutter release so it has to be tricked into thinking there is no film in it. Lens looks really good though.

I am pretty sure this is Fuji Super HR, developed in Precysol.

The Fujica 600 is some top gear; doubly excellent it'll also handle reloads. The three overlapped exposures work pretty well as a series. I think the 2/3rds frame mechanical advance found in many 110 cameras is ultimately a feature and not a bug... just think of it as a self-masking half-frame 110 portrait mode. 🤓

Nice one. I've been alternating between the original Minolta 16 and the 16ii for a few days, exposing a few feet of HR-21. I find the subtle differences in their respective fixed focus distance & focal length help drive choice of subject and composition. A potentially more rigid shooting style than rolling with, say, an auto-focus SLR but also counterintuitively easier to finish a film. I'm less likely to skip a 'suitable' photo since the fixed focus can seem to afford fewer subjects. It doesn't really limit creativity in any way, but elements of absent functionality it can make seem like it does.

Fujica Pocket 600 -- This is the deluxe version of the Pocket 500 with the same 25mm (f2.8-16.0), (4/3) lens -- but now with rangefinder focusing. It has the same electronic shutter with speeds of 4 seconds - 1/500. Flash speed of 1/45. The CDS meter provides programmed exposure control, but the Pocket 600 adds back-light compensation when needed. Tripod and cable release sockets, and hot shoe. It also adds a self timer. Built-in UV filter. Uses two A76 batteries. Available in chrome & black, or all black.

Fuji made some great 110 cameras:

Similar speed/filtration characteristics to in-camera RA-4 paper but with microfilm resolution. Next I think I'll tweak the filter stack for daylight and process ECN-2. A proper frame mask would likely eliminate the hotspot in the camera scan.
