Hello all,
Had a question in regards to the Benro geared tripod head if anyone has one and happens to have a Chamonix 4 x 5 camera. It looks to me as though one of the gear knobs rises slightly above the Arca-Swiss plate level, which would be the bottom of the camera, and would make it not possible for the camera to mount properly on the tripod head. I’m sure I could fabricate some kind of a spacer for the bottom of the camera where it integrates with the Arco Swiss plate but I was wondering if anyone had one of these heads and cameras. It seems to be a very good, light weight geared tripod head, and I’m just growing tired of ballhead use with 4 x 5 cameras.
