To keep up the “snow ball” this next post seems to confirm the moderators understanding that the specs combined both cameras…📷📷

Your right-second photo lists fine and standard jpeg.

So does your camera produce JPEG or not? Can you just ask Leica? Leica seems to be good as answering question.

My camera, the MD 262, only produces RAW images and doesn’t shoot below 200 ISO…📷

The first spec only applies to the M262 the second shows the MD262 specifications…📷

No. There is no screen on the camera, therefore no need to produce jpegs. From what I have been able to gather, the MD typ 262 was a stripped-down camera, no monitor, no menu buttons, only the essentials. The M Typ 262 has a screen, menu buttons and produces jpegs. It is still pared-down compared to other digital Leica M cameras.

The MD has a brass top and bottom plate.
There was a limited production of the MD262!
It’s more geared the the analog experience.
It cost more for less…📷

That's because it's not OP's camera.
Again: M262 vs. MD262
let's see when the next guy comes along to say "ooooh but why don't you just shoot jpeg..." and then you can join the chorus pointing out it's not possible. We will snowball our way towards a rare case of consensus on this forum, although I expect it'll take probably a year or more.
Next patient, please!

Ahhhh, patina!
But on closer examination, it seems a little too rough and if I had this MD, that shoots only RAW, would fine sand it for a smoother finish…📷

Why does he keep posting instructions that show it shoots jpeg then? Stop doing that.

Maybe the translator got it wrong when he was changing it from the German? 😁

Probably they showed that the MD262 came from the same design as the M262 without a screen. A lot of manufacturers use the same owners manual for different models. They are both M (Typ 262) models. Whereas the D designation is screen less.
Also being screen less made it impossible to choose different modes, JPEG or RAW…📷

So have you come to a conclusion about the screen resolution for viewing the pdf of your user manual?

Sorry, not following you…🥸
