The glass appears clean and clear with no significant defects and the focus and aperture controls move smoothly. I forgot to clean the dust off the viewfinder surfaces, especially the rear, before I took the photos. The case is a bit shelf-worn but does its job. Negatives on the roll of FP4+ I shot were sharp and contrasty under a 10x loupe and were comparable in both regards to ones using my haze-free 35mm f/2 and 50mm f/1.8 Canon LTMs on the same roll.
I bought this very nice lens after I discovered that the Avenon 28mm f/3.5 I'd purchased wouldn't mount onto one of my Canon LTM bodies (I forget which one). But I've since figured out that the 35mm focal length suits me better when I want a wide. Stupid me - I should known this since I almost never use the 65mm on my Mamiya 7 - 95% of my shots are with the 80mm and most of the rest with the 150mm.
The metal front cap is original, the screw-on metal rear cap (not shown) is an ebay generic.
Asking $315 shipped in the US and I'll cover PayPal G&S fees. This lens is in Massachusetts so you'll have no tariff worries.
I'll be posting the Avenon for sale in the near future.
