Yes, it's in principle* OK to post an announcement of a competition. We have a dedicated subforum for it, which is the sub-forum I've moved your thread to. https://www.photrio.com/forum/forums/call-for-entries.64/

* I mention "in principle" because we sometimes have organizers of a contest registering here on Photrio just to post a link to their contest, and then it turns out that participants need to "pay to play". In such cases, we will consider an announcement to be commercial advertising and we'll generally remove it from the forum.

I've Googled and found this, which I assume is what you're referring to https://www.cipfestival.com/
There's no fee to submit work; once a photographer is selected to participate in the event, they will have to pay a fee.
Can I ask you if you're involved in organizing the contest and if you receive financial compensation for your work?

No! I am Not involved in organizing the contest and do not receive financial compensation of any form...
I just pasted by saw the an exhibition of street photo of Athens . it was last day , I had been with a cold and did not go out for over a week, so a good reason to get out.
I am not with any one -
Just as I came back from the exhibition it was more of a moments thought of interest, please do not give it any further consideration as if not spoken.
pass 9 months I had two group exhibitions and did not post for here for P.R.

You should. There's no reason to not encourage people local to you to go visit an exhibition that includes your work.
