I have bought gear from Tam and Li Pham at Millenium as they were winding the film volume of this lab down a few years ago. A great pair.
He got lung cancer a number of years mid 90's I think this forced a wind down from running three or four labs to just the one he and his wife run from this store front in the MichaelAngelos Plaza.
His brother ran the ship and contracted the operation while he was recovering, so Tam knows he has the gear, but sometimes doen't know where it is.
I bought my D5XL from him, and a second dichroic head and some accessories were dropped off by Dave White when he was doing a gear pick there some month later. Tam and Li were rearranging a spare bedroom at home and found more omeag enlarger bits. They gave them to me since i had bought the last full Omaga he sold out.

i am sorry for your lame experience with what was probably a great analog photo store ( or is that analogue
) ...
i have never been to henry's, only talked to the staff on the phone when a once popular photo equipment mail order
company went belly up and henry's surprisingly acquired all their "stuff" it was mostly lame backdrops it seems.
anyways sorry again for your problems. when i usually speak to phone sales staff who are clueless
i ask for a "supervisor" or "manager on duty" and if they are completely clueless i never call them again.
the last time this happened was after i contacted toyo about a recessed lensboard ... they said it was "dealer only"
and the nearest dealer i knew after they told me the name .. after i telephoned, and the staff had no idea what toyo was
and i asked for the manager, and HE had no idea and didn't even know they were a dealer, i gave up.
kind of funny though the recessed lensboard was hugely overpriced where i bought it, and it would have cost at lest 1.5-2x that amount
if the "dealer" had a clue and didn't blow the order.
nothing like someone clueless on the line ... i feel for you ...

I have to say, FilmPlus is a real gem. Every time I have gone in has been on Saturday, and the woman who works Saturdays is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with analog materials. I find it is the only storefront in downtown Toronto with an interesting selection. Plenty of choice in black & white film, paper, chemicals. I am pleased to be able to buy Diafine off the shelf at FilmPlus.
For colour film and lab work, I generally go to Downtown Camera. The owners seem to have embraced the idea of becoming "the film guys" and the store has a pretty good stock.
Henry's downtown has been pretty abysmal for film and analog for a while; but the newly redecorated store seems to have deleted the darkroom chemicals and paper completely. Henry's outlet moved to Dundas St. in Missisauga, and it's the only Henry's I enjoy going to. There are one or two knowledgeable guys and the film gear often ends up in the clearance bins, so it can be a treasure hunt.

Well, someone is going to be disapointed in Henry's, but it sure wasn't me. Last friday I went in to order my new d****l body. It's still new, and I was expecting a couple of weeks wait for it. Part way through the order process, the salesman says "Would you like to leave the store with one today?" Huh? Sure! How?!
Apparently someone had ordered one from that store but not picked it up in four days, and to meet demand they were going to send it to Toronto to be shipped off to the next in line. However, the salesman would rather save the trouble and sell it from his store - to me. and so I walked out of there happy as a clam with my new toy.

So you're happy, and frankly so would I be, but the guy who was truly next in line got shafted and still has to wait when it should have been his. Not sure I like this business practice...
I think it would depend on whether or not a deposit had been paid for this camera. If they didn't, then tough beans, presuming the buyer had received several calls to pick it up.
Just spoke to the folks at Millennium Photo, they no longer do E-6, or large formats.
But still cover B&W and C-41 in 35mm and 120/220.

I know Rob carries 35mm rangefinder cameras and lenses, some large format related stuff, and B&W film and chemicals (I purchased 8x20 HP+5 as part of the Ilford ULF run last year), but does he handle E6 too?
For you Toronto guys I have been hearing rave reviews about Caribou Film Lab from photographers I know who are sending their film over there. They are doing process and scan for all types of roll film.
I've been tempted to send some film out there myself but it's a long way away and I've been pretty happy with my lab in Vancouver.

Since B&H started offering $9 Purolator ground shipping, I have have stopped buying film in Canada but continue to buy my chemicals locally.
