Here we have a pretty nice example of an early Tamron (from what I could find online about Taika) lens. Everything works on it, barring the preset aperture mechanism. You can fully stop it down, but it doesn't stop you from stopping it down more than what you perhaps otherwise would have wanted to stop at stopping it down to.
Set it to f/8 and you can close the aperture completely. So...there's that. It's a 140mm f/4.5 by itself. Glass is clean and clear, no major issues I could find. Focus is a bit stiff but smooth.
But it's tiny and lightweight and an odd focal length, and it includes the awesomely tiny "doubler", which turns it into a 230mm f/7.9 lens. Aperture is smooth, adapter screws on smoothly. No wobble.
Also includes an unmarked filter thread adapter and hood, and Exacta t-mount adapter with slip on cap, and a cap to fit the front hood's opening. Also, there's a dedicated case which is in just alright shape (not pictured).
