Impossible repairs: Who works on the latest electronic SLRs and digital cameras?

Is it an electronic or mechanical issue?

Many seem to have electronics problems, hopefully just capacitors, but don't know if there are other issues. Also, the leather coverings tend to deteriorate. When new, they boasted of a soft feel, but it didn't age well.
