There is at least some description to the files, just switch from tile view to list. I can see the episodes featuring you PE. Super cool! Thank you Paul!! Working on downloading the batch now.

I finally found them on a very very old drive that had been mirrored to another computer. I have individual files, but they are so big that they cannot be uploaded to Photrio. They do indeed have identifiers.

Sorry that it took so long. It was low priority and needed having someone lighting a fire under me.

Wow this didn’t disappoint!
Very, very good shows.
Mr. Green you did a lot of good by digging out that old drive.

And PE I’d love to hear the lost episodes that was recorded but never put out, if you have them that is.
I’m really enjoying your episodes. You’re just as well spoken as I imagined. Very interesting stuff!

Here you go - there are 130 of them so it will take sometime before they are all uploaded.

A while back when I was trying to track down copies of the episodes, I contacted Scott's producer. Unfortunately, she did not have any copy of the files and she had no way of retrieving the files from Scott's computers. After reading your message, I just sent her another message today, and she is thrilled that the episodes have been found! She will be passing them on to Scott's mother, who I am sure will enjoy them very much. Thank you so much, Paul! I spent many hours doing a lot of digging and contacting a lot of people involved with the show, but I came up empty handed. I am so glad you had the foresight or good fortune to save a copy of the shows.

I have gotten permission from Scott's producer to put together a webpage hosting the shows. Once I have done this I will make a post with the link in this thread. It would be great for you to leave your OneDrive link active as a backup even after I get this webpage up and running. I have saved them on 4 separate devices and it sounds like several others (including Scott's producer) have done the same, so hopefully they won't become lost again.

This is a great conclusion, I really can't express how much this means to me and to those close to Scott. Many thanks Paul!

Thank you for your kind message, I'm just happy that I could give something back. It really is important to make backups of the things important to you

Thank you for offering to put a web page together - I will make sure that the link stays live here.

Again I am just glad that I could help in some way - like you, the podcasts meant a lot to me, offering lots of inspiration and entertainment at a time in my life when I needed it!

Do you have any descriptors for the files?

PE
Obviously I can't change the embedded information in Mr. Green's kindly uploaded files, but I've cross-referenced those files with those on the MixCloud site and taken the track order from the latter. I have one 'spare' file which appears on Paul Green's list, but not in the MixCloud one. Presumably it's a recording made with Aaron Muderick (the file is labelled Aaron Mu.mp3), but as I wasn't 100% certain, I've left that as found and just listed it as Track #200. I'm afraid you'll all have to order the tracks by hand as I did because, when I made a playlist, it used my automatically renamed file names and won't work with the original file names as downloaded. Apologies!
Anyway, I hope this is of help:

Very nice, thanks. I have found some but not all of the ones you list. I don't even have all of the copies that I did.

Well, it's not quite done, but I'm leaving town for a week and I wanted to get this uploaded before I left. There are a few broken links I have to fix, and I'll put a properly ordered YouTube playlist when I get back. I'd be happy to take your feedback and suggestions.

And here is an archived copy of one of the webpages from Scott's original site for comparison:

I can't believe no one has commented yet on what a wonderful thing you've done and how much all of your hard work is appreciated. These are the files preserved by Paul Green, yes? In which case, massive amounts of gratitude to you, also, kind sir. The two of you have done something magical and generous in preserving and presenting Scott Sheppard's work and legacy. Books have long been rather easily held on to, reprinted, republished, held in private and public collections; but I think the Analog Photo Radio which Scott created shows just how easily knowledge can be lost in the internet age and highlights the importance of preserving such things.
From myself and, (hopefully) that of future generations, thank you for caring enough to make Mr. Sheppard's hard work accessible to all of us.

Thanks for your kind comments, Molli. Yes, they are the files provided by Paul Green. Many thanks to Paul for providing the files! It was really my pleasure to try and rebuild the website as best I could. I'm so glad this content was found, and with lots of backups and a bit of luck, the shows should be available to future generations. Many of Scott's guests were real titans in the analog photography world, and it's fantastic to have a record of their voices and stories.

If anyone has the unedited episodes that were recorded but not aired (PE?), I would be thrilled to add them. In fact, if anyone is aware of any analog content in general in need of archiving, I would be happy to make a similar site and host the content.

Those who praise these episodes, please keep in mind that there are people who just can't understand most of it, like me. Listening to some episode is an endeavour, something I decided not to spend my time on by countless re-spooling and creeping into the speaker so to say.

Yes, of course. But having done transcripts and translations of industrial films myself I know it is an insane work and to my mind not worthwile for these episodes.
I just wanted to say these are not for everyone, and that is ok for me.

I have looked and apparently, Scott said he would send some unaired program material to me, but did not. He was having severe health problems last I talked to him.

I haven't read the whole thread but seem to remember Inside Analog Radio had a heavy bias in favour of Fuji. That's not a complaint but I felt it was a failing as it was an excellent resource.
