I am looking into purchasing a Nikon GP-1A GPS or Micnova GPS-N PLUS device and I would like to find out what others have experienced with it. I would be using it with the Nikon Z7II. How to best control the battery drainage? Recommendations. I notice that KEH does not have any in stock, so suggestions for supply sources would be welcome.

I purchased the Micnova GPS-N PLUS device from Amazon and while the webpage said that it is compatible with the Nikon Z7ii, it is not and I returned it.

I have a Nikon GP-1 that I don't really use, bought it years ago for an aerial project. It has the 10 pin connector but can also use the other cords that B&H still sells. Let me know if you want it and I will let it go for something reasonable.
