Are there any no digital clauses to any of these posts?
Either way, here's some film images

I purposely set these threads up so that all could participate in them.

De-carbonate first?

This is the Recipe I developed:
Beer (cheap Lager, I used Pabst Blue Ribbon) - 12oz
Sodium Carbonate (Arm & Hammer Washing Soda) - 2.75 Tsp
Ascorbic Acid Powder (Vitamin C) - 1.25 Tsp
Salt (Morton's Iodized Table Salt) - 1/4 Tsp

Add the ingredients is the order above, it will take a several minutes to get the Sodium Carbonate to fully dissolve before you add the Ascorbic Acid. The Sodium Carbonate will "de-carbonate" the beer (make it go flat).
Double everything for 120 film or two rolls of 135.
Developed at 20 degrees C for 20 minutes. Agitate first 30 seconds then 15 seconds every minute. Normal Fix.

Warning - Add the Ascorbic Acid after the Sodium Carbonate to avoid a foam explosion.

It doesn't work very well with Tri-X or Plus-X but it does work well with most other black and white films. Tri-X and Plus-X come out looking under developed for some reason and despite a lot of experimenting I have not been able to get very good results with it.

So it's for spits and giggles or has a unique look? I got loads of expired HP5+ and now you have me thinking...
