Thanks. I find that the print has more depth and a better "look" to it than the screen image but I may be imagining things.

You probably aren't.

Nice composition. I have the same set up and would like to add the 65mm LA lens someday. It sure is a capable landscape camera system, but takes a commitment to tote around.

Thanks,
65mm LA is the perfect lens, much better then 50 mm. But I've sold RZ fnd bought Bronica GS1 it's smaller and lighter, lenses 65/4 ,100/3,5, 150/4, 200/4.5 are very sharp and well made.

@GLS These are both really nice. My brain has stuck in the rut of going back and forth and trying to decide which tones (film) I find more pleasing. I'm leaning towards the Provia image.

I'm viewing these on a very modest LG monitor btw.

Thanks. For colour work I tend to prefer slides too, if the scene contrast permits. The above was pushing that boundary.

The Ladybower scene was also on the edge, but I did in fact expose two sheets of Velvia 50 for it. Afterwards I realised I'd forgotten to compensate for the CPL, so those shots were 1 stop underexposed and of course unusable as a result. I had more Velvia with me but didn't want to throw good money after bad, so settled with the Ektar backup.

Also, FYI I have updated the frame for the Ladybower scene on Flickr with improved colour correction (the original still had a slight green-cyan cast) so best to look at it there. Same for the Velvia image above that (too blue). I would update the embedded old versions here, but the forum software won't allow editing of posts past a certain age. Eventually the embedded cached images will fail to load I expect.

2 images with opposing views, same location from back in August. Not my preferred medium (digital, sony a6000) but you use the tools you have with you. I plan to go back in the next week for some proper fall colors. Located on the Cumberland Plateau between Crossville and Knoxville.
