I can't make out what type of bush/tree that is in the photo.

In Ireland, the Hawthorn ( a Celtic sacred tree) is never cut or mowed as it is believed that the fairies live below it and so would bring serious bad luck.

Ask an Irish farmer and you will get the same answer.

Thank you! I am not sure what that was but it caught my eye hence the capture. I often drive the back roads, farm tertiary roads looking for things that grab my eye. This was an example.
