Very nice, Jim. Very otherworldly (pun intended).
John, the colors in that Normandy Lake image (#2145) are amazing. I caught a sky similar to that in Wisconsin on Thanksgiving a few years back. It was a phone grab from the passenger seat of my Cousin's car, so the foreground was an intersection and some field.
That was a lucky capture. I had been out all day on my ADV bike (ktm 1090r) riding mixed gravel/dirt/pavement roads west of the lake and was racing the light home. The sunset was becoming more and more beautiful and it just happened to really explode as I was crossing the lake. I quickly pulled over, grabbed the camera out of the tank bag and captured that. Proof that the best camera is the one you have with you.
Both of these are absolutely flawless. Very well done. Did you do anything special to get this kind of sharpness?Same day and combo as above but with the 75-150/3.5 series e zoom.
