John, the colors in that Normandy Lake image (#2145) are amazing. I caught a sky similar to that in Wisconsin on Thanksgiving a few years back. It was a phone grab from the passenger seat of my Cousin's car, so the foreground was an intersection and some field.

That was a lucky capture. I had been out all day on my ADV bike (ktm 1090r) riding mixed gravel/dirt/pavement roads west of the lake and was racing the light home. The sunset was becoming more and more beautiful and it just happened to really explode as I was crossing the lake. I quickly pulled over, grabbed the camera out of the tank bag and captured that. Proof that the best camera is the one you have with you.

Going through some images from 2019. Somewhere along a backroad in Amish country, Cumberland Plateau, TN. Kentmere 400, canon a1, 28-80 lens (3rd party, maybe gemini branded).

I have always been partial to this rural landscape. I have tried to get a better capture over the years but conditions didn't warrant. Delta 100, canon a1, some zoom 28-80ish zoom with a yellow orange filter. Coffee County, TN

Both of these are absolutely flawless. Very well done. Did you do anything special to get this kind of sharpness?

Thanks! Nothing special, just developed, scanned with a kodak pakon f135+. Slight adjustments (levels, very mild global sharpening) in LR but really nothing that you wouldn't do with a print in the darkroom. Good light and good scenery that day
