AgfaPhoto APX 100 pushed 2 stops and reversed in PQ Universal. Handheld, will definitely do this again.

@Ivo Stunga That looks a lot like North Carolina did this past Sunday evening -- right down to the glossy glaze on the snow due (here) to the storm finishing with an hour or so of freezing drizzle.

Going to bore you with a story for a moment. Going back a few years, 2012 to be precise..... this was my first attempt to make a portrait on Large format (Toyo Monorail, with a Schneider 210mm F5.6 lens on Arista EDU Ultra 100. Borrowed by a friend who is no longer into LF). It took me ages to "get it right". From the time I asked my kids to sit till the time I fired the shutter, it was nearly 2 hours (I have 2 daughters, who took it in turn to sit). I got too caught up playing with all those weird and wonderful movements, where's I should have just zero'd them out and taken the shot dammit.

By the time I was ready to take the photo, the kids were bored. I asked them to look miserable and these were the results. Couldn't have gotten better if I had tried!

Lighting was simple - I fired two strobes with the standard lamp shade modifier, off the back wall to fill the room with light. It was a crap shoot, but it worked perfectly

Oh, and the shot of her sister:

Hehe, you're reading the conditions right - that's exactly what happened! All the blanket of snow that was there got encapsulated by a sheet of ice, roads were frozen solid and ice skates would've gotten you further with less effort - lovely conditions to photograph, imho.

As an Australian, I can't even fathom living in conditions like this. Nice mood.
Thank you! As Latvian I cannot fathom living further North, but people seem to do it with ease on a daily basis - we can adapt to **** and love it dearly! :D
We have a temperate climate here so I can enjoy 30°C summers and -30°C (rare) winters and it keeps things changing and fresh.

Latvian Lady 'INNA' posed for use at the 70th Anniversary Garden Party of Brentwood & District Photographic Club, England. I used my 'GIFT' Mamiya C330 F Pro + 135mm f4.5 Blue Dot Sekors and tried some Kodak T-Max 100 in 510-Pyro 1:100 -- Not the 'Best Combination' for THIs film I think -
