This week four pieces arrived in the mail.
Daniela's "Overlooking Arles" very graphic and simple composition but the placement of the chair really works and the strong verticals lines keep everything together.
John Wilson's "Rockwood Tree Trunk" is an interesting composition taken at a place I spend a fair bit of time at. Thanks for sending it.
MFOHL's 'Tree Along the Fence' although a somewhat stark and simple composition it really holds together well with the fence along the right wall. Maybe provide a few more details on the forum if you get a chance.
Thorsten's "Great Falls" is the largest postcard I've ever received, It's a beautiful image of the falls and a great composition.
Thanks for sending them out. Always a lot of fun.

Hi, received from @Jim Christie "Gallery Seating" terrific print on rag paper on a Canon printer. Excellent composition and tone, really looks like a silver fiber print, well done!!!

Also from John Wilson "Rockwood Tree Trunk" nice print on postcard paper, great composition!!

I received two nice cards. "Rockwood Tree Trunk" from John Wilson. Crazy roots, and it appears that there's no hope for the whole tree. Good catch! The second is "Gallery Seating" from Jim Christie. I like these structure and pattern shots. At first, I thought I was looking up the front of a downtown building somewhere. But it's a seating gallery. In a university art gallery, of course. I like the minimal pattern presentation.

Thanks John and Jim!

I received @Daniela card "Overlooking Arles" very nicely composed and printed. Thank you!

I'm delayed on getting things done. I had to have plumber come to replace my water heater (in the darkroom) and then for the first time caught Covid! Feeling better, taking Rx. I will get to it in time.

I do so enjoy these cards and photos! Best Regards Mike

I have received 4 cards in the last couple weeks, sorry I'm a bit late with responding!

John Wilson's "Rockwood Tree Trunk".
Wow, the stories that tree could tell! ...

mfohl's "Morning Tree".
Beautiful, classic tree & fence composition...Nicely done!

Don_ih's "Tire in a Ditch".
An image that strikes a chord with me, as well....what is it about old tires in the landscape that makes them such irresistible subject matter?
Hmmm... I think I know what my PCX #63 subject will be....

Thorsten's Great Falls".
Wow! An 8x10" postcard! Beautifully seen & executed. Arrived in surprisingly good condition, with just a few dings & dents.

I printed my 20 + postcards last night, they should go out in Monday's mail.
Cheers!

Received today from @Rob Skeoch a fine portrait of a vegetable on nice Ilford fb paper (5x7, also). Just a couple of scuffs. I won't say what vegetable but I'd like to pick it off the paper to use this evening when I cook.

Not surprising, Rob's card came quick - he's just down the road a bit.

I like the lighting and the printing, Rob - great job!

Thanks for the postcard compliments! I recently got two cards that really stood out to me:
"Window" by @AnselMortensen is superb, and Arista 400 with Rodinal is quite the classic combo. I also really like the stamps choice, I was curious and some googling later, the stamps seem to be decades old! Nice to see a change to the normal forever postcard stamps.
"Red Pepper #4" by @Rob Skeoch is also fantastic, who knew a pepper could pose so well? I also throughly enjoyed watching the video on the process! FYI, the link does not work, but adding "watch?v={CODE}" I was able to resolve the video.

I received @j wilson 's "Rockwood Tree Trunk", nicely composed shot of a tree trunk against a rock wall. The muted contrast gives it a lovely historical look. Thank you, John!

Just got my cards for pcx 62 in the mail today, completed my comments for pcx 61, mowed the grass, visited my sisters in North Carolina and replaced the water heater. I haven't had a bad week! I just won't look at my to do list for a few days.😮😮

I'm so behind, I had surgery (went great!) in June, then, first time had Covid, finally feeling pretty good. Hopefully this week will get something done.
Feeling better and having a nice darkroom to go and goof around, best medicine there is 😊
