I got all my cards in the mail last week for pcx64, and figured I'd get my comment for #63 finished this week!!!
I must admit to having them piled on my desk and often sifting through them and enjoying the trip down the viewing rabbit hole. This was a great and appreciated round.

ben_P, peace, love and classic cars - a mint condition vw van sans hippies. very nostalgic and amazing for what is an old and lovingly cared for vehicle!
rob skeoch, hilton falls, a well composed portrait of a solid group that's been around awhile and all their little buddies detailed in the background
darwin/drpsilver, stamping/mill bodie, despite the description as noisy, it is a very graphic, appealing view - more enjoyable this way.
thorsten, fiskelage pa gotland, a peaceful and poetic view juxtaposed by the menacing clouds.
mfohl, dilapidated, you can feel/ the textures - the oft leaves against the grainy wood and peeling paint, hard surfaces- and yes, the butterfly!
d.heisz, barn, superb - still stands proud though it won' remain so. the high key print/ makes it standout.
j. christie, long rest, when I first flipped the card to the front image side my first feeling was "claustrophobic"! Then turned around to "portrait" , still claustrophobic, less so 'cause I saw what it was. (Jim, I see you also discovered the AA stamps)
BHuij, Horsetail Gorge, very dramatic and depth. I can only imagine what a job it must have been to print - you did it!
kylemika, lone tyre, I agree... I really think the less than intuitive inclusion of the vine off center really makes a great capture!
gbroadbridge, eddy avenue..., before reading the description I found the place appealing and somewhere I'd stop in and enjoy - alas, not to be. a great picture.
ansel mortensen, sheaf, alive! a striking image. attractive and makes you want answers - what? how? the lighting. then they don't matter - just great, well done.
michael howard, fort Moultrie... a long history of conflict, expense and disuse!
mike hayslett, impossible, "don't count the days, make the days count" - he was the greatest.
jvo, the reveal - the jellyfish were plastic "bubbles" that floated up and down in a cylinder of water... i took them out and laid them on a round curved disk and made muitple exposures using one light varying intensity, different apertures, angles and poses, (they were experienced and cooperative models tho')!
rduraoc, phlacrocorax, a memorable image, composed, impressive layers and tones - a nice image to enjoy and 'wander' in.
rlibersky cuban mansion... i see a heroic battle, a small brush against a huge wall. truly a testament to art and human tenacity. p.s. - my card arived and apparently never had a stamp!!!
btc, hoffman labs, all the straight and intersecting lines - who left those crooked bicycles!!!? observant capture!
todd barlow, abandoned fargo... round, round, round, round and the balancing grill, texture.
graham King, matsumoto castle... over the years of participation in the postcard exchange I have rec'd a lot of great postcards and art - and some really fine art! I have wooden box on a side table for people to peruse the cards from multiple exchanges - guests are always impressed and they've sparked great conversations. Graham you have taken the lowly cyantype and raised it to a fine art. Beyond the technique I now have to determine the most appropriate manner to proudly show your work!
