Can anyone shed light on Strabo Tours run by Rosenstock?

I'm trying to obtain information specifically about Isle of Skye, and the quality of the workshops.

Thanks,

THardy

I have come very close to working with Jacque at Strabo and am still planning on trying to lead a tour through them. From what I know, they are well set-up and organized. You might try contacting David b here on APUG as I know he has traveled with Ron before. I have been in contact with Ron several times and he seems like a great guy although I have yet to meet him in the flesh. We were actually in Iceland last year at the same time with tours of our own, but unfortunately were not able to cross paths.

Good luck!

David B. - Pleasant and easy sounds a little luke warm. I am thinking of doing a 9-day European workshop with them and, before committing major $$, I would like to get some assurance that they run a well-organized trip. Was that your assessment? I am a relatively experienced and advanced shooter. Your use of the word "easy" was a little ambiguous. Do you mean the instructor didn't really motivate you to learn and try new stuff? Or that the others on the trip comprised a relatively inexperienced group? Or that things were so well organized that in terms of logistics, it was trouble-free and therefore "easy"? I'd like to learn some new techniques and have a chance to shoot people, not just scenery.
