Slow black and white film for 35mm and 120

Boy o boy this forum is a delightful antidote to the horrors of digital photography! Sincere thanks to all of you, I am most appreciative of your time and erudition. Going through this thread is getting me excited to get back to the darkroom someday soon!

if you have about 30 minutes and some Japanese paper lying around ( or can get some in your hands ) and don't mind paying $ for a 2kg bucket of emulsion
from freestyle or wherever you shop, or have 1/2 hour and some silver nitrate to make your own with sea salt, water, silver and gelatin ( yea 1/2 hour and its super slow )
you can coat your own rice paper and put it in your vacant 120 rolls taped to your 120 paper and make your own hand rolled ..
if you go to thelightfarm.com. there are simple recipes and lots of info on making and coating paper and glass &c., Denise Ross's website and book are on blurb is hands-down the best resources
out there with real recipes that people actually use ( and its affordable ). .
the foma from freestyle is pre-made and ezpz .. takes very little practice coating, and the beauty of Japanese paper is when you are done souping in your favorite developer you wax the paper and it is see through like FILM.

Currently my favourite slow black and white film is Pan F. I've been shooting if for several months in 120, and developing in D-23 1+3. In sun, and overcast. Lovely film. Next on the list is CMS 20 II. Picky film when it comes to developers and seems to only do well in Adotech IV. I shoot 4x5 version. Not sure if it comes in 120.
