My step son lives with us(or is it the other way 'round) and had the tractor out at six this AM. He still had to wait until 8:30 for the highway dept to plow the main road before he could leave for work. We're scheduled for up to 12 inches by tomorrow morning. Life on a mountain top!Car got stuck. Shovel got stuck. I got stuck. Pandemic is on, school closing tomorrow but hey! There was still school today because since when does a half foot falling in 2 hours stop school from closing rite?

In the early 70's I lived between Oswego and Fulton NY, I fully understand "lake effect snow". I moved from upstate NY to Park City, Ut, I really understand "mountain blizzard". I still love snow(some what). Where I am now is an old ski resort that closed in the 70's and am about 10 minutes from one of the largest ski resorts in the state. Unfortunately, all my X-C gear is at my other house in Cameron County, Pa. or I would be out playing in the stuff.Life near a great lake...
