My local shop had to send it out, I think to Mamiya.

I didn't know that MamiyaLEaf/PhaseOne still did work on the older Mamiya bodies like the RZ67. Good to know.

Don't hold me to who did the work. All I know is that it was sent out, and not done at my local shop. My local shop does tremendous work on the stuff they do service. I trust them with my three Rolleiflexes (a pair of 2.8Es and a Tele), and they rehabilitated the iris on a Cooke Series II that was over 100 years old - now it works like a champ.

So earlier this week I bought a Rolleiflex 2.8C and about 3 weeks ago I bought a Koni-Omega Rapid M but sent it back because I didn't think I would use it and put that money towards the 2.8C. Well about 10 minutes ago I ordered a Koni-Omega 100 with 90mm and 135mm and two 120 backs for $185. I only bought it because I have read the 135mm is rare and a outstanding lens so I thought it was a good deal and I will play with it for awhile and hopefully keep this one, but if I don't I know I won't lose anything reselling it. I considered a GW690III in near mint condition but they are asking $1400 for it.

The KO 135mm lens is worth at least $400 by itself if in good condition. Probably more now, they are very, very scarce and held in very high regard. Nice Find.

Rolleiflex 3.5
Fuji 645GS
Pentax 67 mlu
Bronica SQ AI

The Rolleiflex creates incredible character. The Fuji fits in your pocket and is great for travel, plus I like the portrait orientation. The Pentax makes you want to shoot. I just picked up the Bronica and am incredibly excited to use it.
I am very happy with all of them!

I have been using Hasselblad 500C/500CM cameras since i started back in 2007 as a student. Recently i acquired an Hasselblad Flexbody which is incredibly useful because one can tilt the subject plane with it but its compatible with the V-System lenses and backs.
It's often a bit time consuming to work with but the results are worth the effort.

Starting in 2021, i also ventured into 4x5" LF photography but 6x6 remains my primary format.

Although a bit more awkward to work with, you can also turn the Flexbody 90 degrees to get swings as I needed here for the rocks on the left. I have been using Hasselblads for my work since 1987 and it is by far my favorite gear to work with. I have a very large system in Hasselblad and zero interest in any other medium format camera if that tells you anything.

It’s been a joy to use it here in the Faroe Islands.

When I travel I carry a mamiya 6 and at home I use a Pentax 67 with an aero ektar on it. I have a ton rollei tlrs but I rarely use them because I shoot portraits in low light mostly and I find them really difficult to focus. For me the p67 is by far the easiest to focus in these conditions..

I'll chime in....I have an RB67, a 645 1000s, and three Rolleis (all various 3.5 versions through time). Oh and a Yashica Mat-124 for good measure

It may seem a bit redundant to have two 645 systems, but I guess that's no different than having several Canon and Minolta 35mm camera bodies and lenses. lol

I would love to see some examples of the aero ektar portraits?

I've been using Hasselblads since 1976 when I bought a Hasselblad 1000F. Long gone.

Here are my medium format cameras that I use:

1. Hasselblad 2000FC/M (two bodies)
2. Hasselblad 500C
3. Mamiya 645 1000s (4 bodies - long story)
4. Pentax 6x7
5. Cambo 23SF 6x9 view camera
6. Rolleiflex 2.8C TLR
7. Rolleiflex 4x4

I don't feel I should venture into this party, but I'm here now so here goes:

TLRs:
Late model Rolleiflex 3.5f which is my main user. It has replaced an old Rolleiflex Automat which replaced several flavours of Minolta Autocords (still my favourites) and YashicaMats. I've also got a semi-functioning Art Deco Rolleicord and an old Lubitel which came with film in it but I haven't been able to figure out what it is. I have a beautiful Voightlander coffee can TLR as well, but it's not intuitive to shoot with and the old lenses are very soft and have the most incredible flair, which would be interesting with the right subjects, but not for everyday shooting. At the moment I've got 11 TLRs sitting in my camera case but I know I have more back in Canada. Most of them are working, or kind of working, but I don't use most of them anymore because of various issues - light leaks, image spacing, skipping frames, sticky shutters, etc. It always seems cheaper to buy a "new" camera than service the old one, as in my experience one problem may be fixed but they come back with a new one.

Holgas and pinholes:
My main user is still the first one that I bought over 15 years ago, a Holga FN, although I have never used the flash or keep batteries in it. I like the vingetting on this one more than any others. I have about 8-10 Holgas, including one with a glass lens (which sucks) and the Holga wide pinhole version. Mostly I have so many because I bought a few as backups when I found out the original Holga factory was shut down and the machinery destroyed.
As for pinholes, I have a couple from Reality So Subtle - a 6x17, and 6x6 (filter version), and the 6x6 knock-off from Ondu. I have a very battered Pinhole Blender as well, which I still like shooting with, but doesn't get as much love as it should.

Systems:
Bronica SQAi which replaced the Bronica SQA I originally bought. I originally bought this because I wanted the multiple backs and lenses to give me more options than a TLR. However, over the years I kept paring back what I brought with me for travel until I just had one lens and one back, effectively making it like a TLR. I have some good lenses and backs and multiple accessories for this (honestly, it was my main user for nearly 10 years) but I can't even remember the last time I used it. I should probably put it through its paces to see if I want to keep it, or just get rid of it. I'm loath to get rid of gear I love but don't use, in the event that I ever want them back, but the reality is I don't have the room for all these cameras so it probably makes sense on multiple levels to just let it go.

Mamiya 6MF - bought to replace the Bronica since I wanted a lighter system but with excellent quality. At the time I had a lot of back issues so I thought this would help me. However, the meter is unreliable in bright light and I'm not a fan of rangefinder shooting or the lack of close focusing. I should probably give it another chance and if I still don't like it, will sell it.

Eventually, after years of shooting with the Bronica and the Mamiya I went back to TLRs (the Rolleiflex right now) because it is simple, lightweight and easy to use. So, long story short, on a regular basis, for MF I'm using the Rolleiflex, Holga, and every now then, pinholes.

Ran some film through a new to me 220 film back for the RB67. Worked like a charm. It's so nice having three holders, with three different films. Yesterday I was able to shoot scenes with Delta 100, Rollei IR, and Pan F. I think I need one more holder so I can also have my beloved HP5 or TMY with me, too! :D

Even better is having multiple formats for the same lenses and viewfinder (set). I've got 6x4.5, 6x6, and 6x7 backs for my RB67, as well as a 6x7 on 220 that I'm slowly converting to 35mm pano. Plus, my Pro-S body will operate with non-RB67 backs (hence the 6x6, it's a Graflex 22) and my little Century Graphic works with the RB backs, so I have all of those formats available for a much lighter RF equipped camera when I don't want/need the heavy SLR (and I've also got a Graflex 23 for that).

Pentacon Six, mostly with the Volna-3 (prefer it to the MC Biometar). Also a Mamiya-6 folder with an Agfa Solinar lens for 645.

I mostly use the Mamiya and the Linhof (nice camera, but way too heavy).

I started off with medium format. My first camera was a hand me down Kodak Duaflex 620. That is long gone, but I got another one a few years ago as a reminder.

This makes me sound even older than I actually am. BITD, cameras and household items in general were less plentiful and giving a little kid a somewhat outdated hand me down was pretty normal.
