I recently wanted to buy a Horseman SW612 replacement for the MAMIYA 7 because I recently became obsessed with the 612 wide format effect. But I don't know if it's a good idea

How was the experience with Shen Hao 6x17. I've been obsessed with wide-format cameras lately.

A truly wonderful camera, I find it to be well made, easy adjustments and rigid. It’s definitely a keeper.

SONY DSC by Nokton48, on Flickr

This all fits in the small Zone VI White Bag, looks like a picnic cooler. Restored Plaubel Peco Junior body with Jim Galvin Glenn Evans Graflex Roll Back modded to Peco Junior. Made to nicely hold Singer Graflex 120/220 Roll Backs. Two RH8 2.25x3.25, two RH10 6x7cm, one 220 RH20. Three Fujinon GX680 lenses modded to Plaubel Junior Boards. From the left, the 125mm F5.6 GX680, then the 50mm F5.6 GX680, then on the right, the 180mm F5.6 GX680. All three lenses work perfectly with the standard length Plaubel Peco Jr Rail. Film loaded is Ilford PanF+, Ilford Delta 100, Shanghai 220 EI 100, Maco ORT25, Ilford FP4+, Ilford HP5+. So this I'll be taking out this spring, on an olde Star-D tripod. The tripod has a shoulder strap for traveling, and the bag is HEAVY but has everything I need plus room for odds and ends. Apertures on the shutters fully correctly marked, and verified through direct measurement of the lens front irises. All now perfect ready for fully testing. Eight 120 test rolls have yielded perfect frames, some outside tests and some studio stuff. Will post photos soon. These lenses are sharp enough for digital medium format. Hmmmmmm

I mainly use a Graflex XL lately with double sided film holders loaded with Instax Mini.
Picked up a Zeiss 100mm 2.8 Planar last year and love it.

Neil, look for an XL which has the ground glass back included with the camera.
Makes it a lot more versatile.

Century Graphic and Graflex 23 back with Fuji Pro 400-H (first roll from my last pro-pack of this); also, on WPPD, Custom Camera Building 6x6 pinhole, also with Fuji Pro 400-H. Both will be processed in Flexicolor next weekend.

I currently have a Hasselblad 500C/M, but I'm also considering picking up a TLR for comparison purposes. I mainly shoot handheld so am wondering if a TLR with no mirror vibration will better suit my style. I would miss the modularity of the Hasselblad system though.

I've been eyeing an Ikoflex IIa, curious if anyone here has any experience with one and could compare it to a Rolleiflex?

I had a Mamiya C330 with th65mm, 80mm and 250mm lenses before I bought my Hasselblad so I have the reverse comparison. Spoiler Alert: I never looked back.

At the moment I just have the Rolleiflex SL66, but I'm looking for a nice foldable one and a TLR.

That's good to know. I figured that may be the case but I've always wondered. I still may pick up a TLR anyway since most of them are fairly affordable and I can always re-sell down the line. Probably just my GAS kicking in though lol.
