I got an even-lighter 4x5 to show up my ultralight Toho FC-45A (1.2kg). It is a Toho FC-45 mini (880 grams.) No movements so somewhat limited use, but it will still be fun.

I purchased a Nikon MH-25a battery charger in Buenos Aires Argentina which does not work. I am sending a letter to Nikon Argentina to get it repaired or replaced.

I decided that my Nikon Z 24mm to 200mm VR lens was not letting me get the telephoto range I wanted. So I bought Nikon Z 28mm to 400mm VR lens and a Nikon Z 17mm to 28mm lens and now I have offer the Nikon Z 24mm to 200mm VR lens for sale in the Classified Ads here at Photrio.

Since I last wrote here, many packages have arrived.
I received a grip, an original shoulder strap, a 55mm lens and two 🙈 150mm lenses for my Kowa Six.
A developing tank, a film change bag, bottles, funnels etc.
Then a Bronica ETRC (many thanks again to absalom1951🙂), a speed grip, prism viewfinder and a lens.
Yesterday one of my sons was in Berlin and made a detour to fotoimpex for me and brought me some photo chemicals and films.🤗

A Nikon 28mm to 400mm zoom AF lens and a 17mm to 28mm zoom AF lens for my Nikon Z7ii.
That lens gets to f8 quickly so I'm using my 200-500 f5.6 for now, maybe later.

I got a refurbished Z8 with 1460 clicks to go with my 24-200 and got an Ape Case to lug my 200-500.

Yesterday the post delivered to me, a very nearly mint Yashica 124G with its accompanying case. Also hardly marked and the original Yashica lens hood again in the original case. Even the CDS meter works and is not far off the mark when compared to my Minolta Autometer 3.

I only have 1 roll of 120 at the moment and have not had a chance to get out and about, but tomorrow is looking good for a little stroll and use up this film as a test.

A Lens Board Adapter arrived in the mail today for my 5x7" Linhof Super Technika V that will allow me to use the lenses I have for my Super Technika 4x5 on the bigger camera. I am headed to the darkroom to load some film holders and try out the different lenses on the larger format.

A Russar 5.6/20mm with the good original viewfinder. I am very curious about the lens performance.

I have an 18V Milwaukee impact wrench due today. Make it easier to switch off snow for "all season" tires for my Subaru.
A car that will go anywhere is the ultimate photo accessory! 😆

I bought an inexpensive Pentax MG (the "discount" small body with auto exposure only other than a single 1/100 speed). I also bought a 35mm ƒ/2.8 Pentax-A lens. So compact! So convenient! And great optical performance.

Scanners for me too.

My sister’s holding onto something like that for me, an older Epson with transparency adapter. I could catalogue my 4x5 negatives.

But this has been in the works for a while.
This was not a “happy purchase”. An A3 scanner so I can scan my 11x14 prints.

Just unboxed and will be hooking it up shortly.

I bought the same off eBay and it came with bad gears. I tried to mold the existing but the wax caught fire and I destroyed it so badly I can’t even count the teeth.

They don’t sell gears so I threw money at the problem and got this brand new with warranty from B&H.

I understand the struggle too well. Our printing calculator fell to the ground, a few days back, and it broke a small peiee that holds the printing roller. I made a mold with wet sand and cast molten tin but, well... I guess I'll never receive that call from NASA. 😆

A simply beautiful vintage-1979 Olympus OM-1n body.

I've long wanted a backup body for my OM-2n and Zuiko lenses, and I spied this "Good" one at UsedPhotoPro for $101. As with everything else I've bought from them, I'd rate it much closer to Excellent. It's very clean, everything feels tight, the shutter speeds look right, even the light meter seems to be working correctly.

Don't get me wrong: I adore using my OM-2n... but I love that this camera's got an old-school mechanical shutter and isn't battery dependent: It's like a downsized Nikkormat, which has been my favorite SLR since my parents got one in 1965.

If it's the 1400 ftlb model that I have make sure the direction and power settings are correct as it has enough power to shear the studs. LOL
