I received Ansel Mortensen's "Sheaf". What a cool shot: a 5x7 contact print of what appears to be flowers in a vase. And the flowers are a very hot white: the appear to be radioactive! An old Verito lens wide open. Very nice indeed. Thanks Doug, I'll take this one to camera club!

It might be noteworthy to mention that I lith developed most of this round's postcards because the paper I used last round had a too-high base fog. I wasn't pleased with how the cards turned out. However, I actually used the wrong box with my lith developer this round - all these cards would have developed unfogged in regular developer. I found the other box after all the cards were finished.

So, it'll be more lith cards next round. And the next round. And the next round.

Received "Sheaf" from Ansel Mortensen, very dreamy, 5x7 contact print using a good 'ol Wollensak Verito soft lens (f4.5?)
I love these old lenses. Really nicely done, perfect lighting. Love the vintage stamps, added for extra gusto. Oh for the days when one licked stamps!
Thanks so much!

You can still lick stamps, if you're so inclined. Doesn't taste the same, though....

There is just no rhyme or reason to the USPS when it comes to postcards, it seems. I sent them all in one big batch on 10/19. Why did the one going to Ohio arrive on the 24th, but the one going to Iowa take 2 full weeks? Haha glad it showed up.

This is a first for me.

I went out a couple weeks ago, Fujica G617, Fujichrome Velvia 100. I've been photographing some of the murals around the area (before they disappear). I developed the film, so cool even if not masterpieces.
Fired up my older Canon flatbed scanner, using VueScan. Scan looks great with no changes.

So today I'm trying to print 30 copies on my cheap Canon scanner printer.

Next steps, trim the prints, monkey around printing labels and address stickers, then to the post office (closed November 11 for Remembrance Day)

More to follow.......

I also received KyleMika's "Lone Tyre". Even though it's abandoned, it must be higher class than some ordinary old tire. I like that old abandoned stuff. And I thought because of the "tyre", you must have been in the original Boston, in England ...

Thanks Kyle!

Today I received mshchem's "Impossible", a 6x17 shot of a Muhammad Ali mural. Wow! Shot on transparency film, it is beautiful. Definitely got the whole mural covered. I always lusted after a 6x17, but my enlarger isn't large enough. One of these days, I may be content with scans.

Great shot, Mike, thanks!

I received @mshchem 's 6x17 postcard yesterday. "WOW" is right! Beautiful color...Bravo!

The prints are inkjet prints from a straight scan, I don't have Photodhop etc. The credit goes to Fujifilm, Velvia 100. So easy to scan transparency film. No latitude in exposure, I use a good old Minolta incident meter.

Thanks for the feedback! Best Regards Mike

This morning I had a nice surprise in my mailbox, @Thorsten 's "Fiskeläge på Gotland", a very nice print from 4x5 Delta 100, from a very privileged location in Sweden. Also liked the texture of the Foma 313 paper, I should buy a box of this...

Another happy receiver of @Thorsten 's "Fiskeläge på Gotland". What lovely place. You managed to capture the remoteness and solitude of the island beautifully.
I was also intrigued by the stamp, so I looked it up. I'll have to ask my metal head of a brother what he thinks about that festival  Thank you,Thorsten!

Three cards arrived before the Canada Post strike started. Might be a while before the next ones roll through if they don't settle the strike.
"Splash" by BHuij, as you mentioned Andrew, some move through the mail in two days, while others take weeks. hard to figure. In Canada we have the postal strike as an excuse.
RDURAOC's "Parc Tervureu", wow those big negatives sure hold a lot of detail. Great shot and print.
"Barn" from mfohl, what a nice photo, such a clean print. I didn't know Holga's could take photos this sharp. Although the skill belongs with the photographer, not the camera.... but still I didn't know they could take sharp photos.
