It was reported on TV that yesterday was the warmest February day in Britain on record ever.
That'll be all the hot air from Westminster...

That's true, and when Britain exits the E.U. it's going to be an unmitigated disaster.

Well, we've had this weird glowing ball of light in the sky the last few days - anyone remember what it is? Yeah, it's been that kind of year in western PA. But it seems to have lightened up a bit in the last week. Maybe we won't drown this summer? (knock on wood). Though even with no precipitation in the last week or so, our yard is too wet and mushy to walk on.

Raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock here. Guess we finally are getting the edge of the "inland hurricane" pounding the Midwest...

That's odd Bethe, we had the same sighting here in Northwest PA as well! It's gone now. I expect it will return though. Somethings just can't stay away

Raining at the moment, 9C, with an expected high of 12C. Thursday is expected to bring a one day reprieve, with rain back until Monday. I'm hoping the forecast changes: Saturday is International pillow Fight Day in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Well... here in S. Alberta the snow has 'finally' all gone and I can now sit out on the back deck with my 'lap-top'
and 'catch up' with the latest postings

Spring has come
The grass has riz,
We wonder where the birdies is
Some say 'the bird is on the wing'
But that's absurd
Because.. the wing is on the bird.

(My bad).... Ken

Sunny here in Cumbria but still a bit of snow on the higher hills.

A spring day here in Delta, BC. Sunny with a gentle breeze and broken clouds. A high of about 15C.
I was out in the area around Boundary Bay. Eagles were everywhere!

A couple inches of rain, creeks and river are up...might be able to mow the lawn tomorrow. My lawn chair sinks into the ground -- even well-drained soil is pretty wet. That's the way it should be.

Spent the day in Victoria and points north (Cathedral Grove and Port Alberni). Temperature was a brisk 7C on the 7am ferry from Tsawwassen, but warmed up to 14C by late morning. Spent most of the day playing a waiting game with the cloud cover, managing to run only 4 rolls of E100G through the Hasselblads over the course of the day. Returned home a half hour ago to the same 7C I left this am! Clouds are starting to move in (they followed us east); rain is expected to begin again tonight...

Nearly two inches of rain yesterday, temps in the low 40's (f) heavy overcast and winds up to 30mph today. Can't get near the creeks to fish, too windy to set up my 5x7, blah!
